Many of the attractions shown on this website are easily accessible by bus. With regular bus routes operating between all major town and villages all year round, you can easily leave the car behind.
Stagecoach www.stagecoachbus.com is the main bus operator for the region and their website has comprehensive journey planning and ticketing information to help you plan a day out. A day of unlimited travel across their entire network costs £7.50 for an Adult Explorer. Alternatively a Group Explorer, which allows up to 5 people to travel together, is only £15.00. Local area day tickets are also available and start from just £3.60 for an Exeter Dayrider. They even offer a £1 child add on for any adult ticket purchased and up to 3 'add ons' can be bought per adult ticket*.

Car hire: The national firms providing car hire in the county include Avis, Europcar, Sixt and Hertz. For a different way of hiring,
try E-cocars from Totnes train station.
Public transport: Sit back and enjoy the view as someone else does the driving.
