Easter School Holiday Fun Continues

There’s still another week of the Easter school holidays and Devon’s Top Attractions are still offering a super collection of Easter themed days out and egg-stra special activities. The Easterical family fun continues for another WHOLE week!!

Devon’s top 40 attractions are offering another week of non-stop Easter holiday treats and events that will be sure to keep everyone entertained.  If you haven’t yet managed to take the kids on an egg hunt, fear not, there’s still lots on offer right across the county up until the end of the Easter school break.

Why not head over to the Big Sheep and take a ride on ‘The Big One – Rollercoaster’, which only opened last week and another great addition to this North Devon theme park. While there, you can still take part in one of Devon’s BIGGEST Easter egg hunts and be enchanted at the sight of the new-born lambs. Why not follow the Easter trail around the blossoming gardens at National Trust Killerton or try the Dear Cedric Trail around the garden and grounds out at National Trust Castle Drogo?  You can still join the Easter egg trail at Babbacombe Model Village and enjoy their magical illuminations.  There’ll be more scrambling for eggs on the trails out at Devon’s Crealy with their ‘Megga Egg Hunt’ or join the fun trails and hunts at Bygones and Becky Falls. There’s an Eggsteme Easter still on offer out at Woodlands Family Theme Park where you can still meet the Easter Bunny in his grotto until 10th April. Why not take part in the egg-stavaganza at the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth or head to Exeter Cathedral and find the hidden egg shapes as part of their Easter fun fortnight.

There’s still another week to enjoy the underground Dinosaur Quest at Kents Cavern, piece together the dinosaur facts around the caves and see if you can win an Easter surprise.  And there’s plenty of farmyard fun still going on out at Pennywell Farm with a bumper programme of Easter activities on offer and not forgetting there’ll be plenty of time to see all Pennywell’s adorable new arrivals.

Why not take part in the Easter Holiday Hunt at the Donkey Sanctuary along with craft activities? Create your own donkey out of clay and make your very own set of wearable donkey ears.  Enjoy Candy Capers until the 8th April out at Powderham Castle where children can meet the famous chocolatier himself with themed sessions and fun with the Pocketwatch team. Star Wars fans will be excited to hear that Storm Troopers and other characters will be visiting the Milky Way Adventure Park on Saturday 2nd April as part of their full programme of Easter activities.

So, if the hunt is still on to find a perfect family day out before the end of the Easter school holidays take a look at the website and see the huge choice still available.
