Go Ape’s Chief Gorilla Crowned Winning Mascot at Devon County Show

Great entertainment was had by all at the Devon County Show when Devon’s Top Attraction mascots descended in their droves to put on the finest display of ‘mascot fun’ you have ever seen.  The 26 team of mascots travelled from all four corners of Devon to take part and join together to celebrate their 30 Anniversary Year. To add to the fun they were also joined by fellow holiday park mascots and their charity mascots too.

Crowds saw them attempting to perform a highly comical version of the conga dance as they arrived into the arena.  They then danced around a 6ft giant inflatable birthday cake brought to the event by Bounce Torbay. Next, it was time for the long awaited hysterical obstacle race.  The sun shone and the crowds roared with laughter as they helped cheer their favourite mascots along the course. Over the hay bale jumps, weaving in and out of all of the obstacles and a run to the finish. Go Ape’s Chief Gorilla stormed across the finish line to a riotous applause and was crowned winner and champion of the day.

There will be more ‘mascot fun’ when Devon’s Top Attractions launch their ‘mascot dance video’, coming soon! Keep a look out on our website and on Facebook: Devon’s Top Attractions.
