Well known for its sea-dogs but we do welcome the non-seafaring types. Visiting dogs are welcome on leads but we have limited hotel facilities for resident dogs so please check before you book.

We regret due to the nature of the site and its buildings dogs in general are not admitted. However assistance dogs for mobility and sensory needs are admitted.

We are a very dog friendly attraction. Dogs travel for a flat fare of £1.00 and must ride on the lower deck.

Dogs are always welcome on the South Devon Railway and will enjoy their trip between Buckfastleigh and Totnes. All we ask is that you keep them on a lead and off the seats, please !
