Award-winning Escot is set in 220 acres of stunning private parkland in the heart of East Devon. It’s setting new standards in family recreation with its world-class maze, birds of prey with their summertime displays, otters and wild boar, unique (and challenging!) woodland drop slide, Saxon Village, indoor play barn, red squirrels, Termite Pavilion, seahorses and forest play areas.

Try intriguing Escot letterboxing and delicious Coach House cream teas and lunches. There’s a Natural surprise around every corner.

It’s also home to Camp Wild, a day and residential Nature Camp adored by children customers from Tiverton to Taiwan. There are exciting nature-based outdoor 2, 3 and 5 night residential programmes for 7-12 year olds and day programmes for 6-12 year olds at Easter and May half term, throughout the summer and during October half term.

Accommodation is based at our own Yurt Village and activities include otter and wild boar feeding, the woodland playground, team challenges, fossil hunting on the Jurassic coast, fire making and bush crafts, pond dipping, a swamp walk, river play and a Friday night campfire / barbecue.

Opening times

Escot is open daily from 10am.

We are only closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

The Park closes at 5pm in the winter (1 October to 31 March) and 6pm in the summer (1 April to 30 September).
